Corris Festival Band Profile

Barmouth Samba Band ( Samba Bermo )

Inspired by the sight & sound of Batala Bangor, who played at Barmouth's music festival in the summer of 2003, people didn't need much persuading to get their own band together with regular tuition from Paul Green, (Bangor's then Musical Director). After some months our group's first live performance received rapturous applause from a packed house at the local Dragon Theatre. Samba Bermo went from strength to strength, attending many local festivals, and events further afield in Britain, France, & Brazil. ....more
